I can’t tell if it was a fake number or just very close to mine, but it was definitely a scam. The recorded voice claimed to be from the National Crime Agency, warning me they’d freeze my National Insurance unless I hit 1 to sort it out 😂😂. Didn’t take the bait, but I reckon some people might get tricked by it.
