Haha, got a call from someone claiming to be my financial advisor. Yeah right, total scam alert!

Got a call yesterday from someone claiming to be with Capital Investments. I told them I wasn’t interested and asked them not to ring me again, but I kept my cool. Then today, someone else rings saying they’re from the same place. When I mentioned the call from yesterday, he denied ever calling me and accused me of lying. I didn’t bother being polite this time. Blocked the number straight away since it’s clearly a scam.

I didn’t pick up, but as soon as I tried, the call just got cut off. They left a voicemail that lasted about 4 seconds, filled with chatter from what sounded like an office full of people speaking in an Indian language. I’ve blocked the number and reported it to EE right away.

I picked up without knowing who it was, but they just dropped the call straight away. I've gone ahead and blocked their number now.
