Got a call from an Asian lady who kept saying my name popped up cause I'm struggling to pay back a loan and the government wants to assist. Told her I don’t have any loans, but she kept rattling off a bunch of different loans I supposedly took out and wouldn’t quit. Ended up hanging up. Total scam.

Pretty sure it was someone from Pakistan. They called me, saying my name was Jenny or Jane, which isn’t even close to my real name. When I told them they had the wrong person, they tried insisting that they were right about the name. I just had a laugh and ended the call.

My lad used to work for a firm that dealt in selling personal info and advised me to always ask them where they obtained my details from, as cold calling like this is against the law now. They usually end the call quickly when you bring this up because some companies still buy and sell our data for crazy amounts just to make a profit. Got a call from a lady with a Filipino accent claiming to be from Citizens Advice, saying I owed them cash. What a joke! I just put the phone down on speaker and carried on with what I was doing, letting her talk to herself. Honestly, zero out of ten for these losers trying to scam people.

Had a laugh with these muppets, messin’ about like I was callin’ from China. Eventually, the bloke asked for my sort code, so I gave him 01-51 your mum’s got a big one.
