I got a call from someone saying they were with Aviva offering discounts on my insurance. Before anything, they asked for some security info. When I asked them which policy they were talking about, they just dropped the call. Definitely a scam.

Got another call from those people claiming they want to assist me with a crash that supposedly wasn’t my fault. I told them I’m on the TP register, hung up and blocked the number. Guess what? They rang me back the very next day but this time from a different mobile!

Had a bunch of missed calls from this number, decided to answer it today. Got put through to someone named Raj who was using an auto dialler, telling me I’d been in some sort of accident. I told them that wasn’t true and then they just ended the call. Pretty obvious it’s a dodgy insurance scam.

This number popped up on my missed calls list and I reckon it’s one of those accident advice call centres. They all seem to come from the same place. I received a call from a bloke with an accent that wasn’t local, claiming he was reaching out regarding a car crash I supposedly experienced. When I told him to cease calling this number, he became rather irate, insisting he was simply discussing the potential compensation I could claim. I decided it was best to hang up on him.
