I received a call supposedly from Roy at O2, but I’ve got a funny feeling it’s not a genuine O2 number.

Claimed to be from my service provider O2, but the thing is, I'm not even a customer of theirs! Quite confusing, to say the least!

I received a call claiming to be about an incredible offer - a whopping 60% off my monthly bill with O2. However, the caller then attempted to transfer me to another line, which set off alarm bells and I decided to hang up. Shortly after, they rang me back, but I chose not to answer. I have a feeling this might be a dodgy scheme, to be honest.

I reckon this might just be a dodgy caller trying to masquerade as someone from O2, attempting to lure me into ‘upgrading’ my contract. When I expressed my disinterest, they suddenly switched to a different language and promptly hung up. Quite shady, if you ask me!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2, suggesting there was a fabulous promotion available that would lower my tariff. However, shortly after, they attempted to transfer me to another number. When I mentioned that I’m not the one covering the bills-which is true-they insisted that their records showed otherwise. Absolute nonsense, if you ask me!

He kept insisting that I’d receive a 40% discount, mentioning it over and over again. It got rather annoying, so in the end, I just hung up and decided to block the number.
