Got a call claiming to be from Amazon, using an old address I haven’t lived at for over a decade to try and get updated details. They kept nagging, saying someone had used my number to open an Amazon account and bought an iPhone for £699, trying to make me panic. But if that had happened, I’d have definitely got a text alert. Plus, they never mentioned my actual Amazon email, so it's a no-go if you know your account. Checked my orders too - nothing suspicious on there at all. Ended up blocking the number and reporting it straight away. Pretty shady tactics!
