I got a call from someone claiming they were with a recruitment firm, but it felt a bit off. Reckon they were pretending to be from a legit agency, but it definitely seemed dodgy to me. Not sure what their angle was, but I wouldn’t trust it.

Received a text from 07729884417 and just deleted it right away. I'm 76, so my first thought was it was definitely a scam. The message said something like, "Hi, I'm Martha, a consultant from ............ employment agency. We have several job openings that could interest you. Give us a ring to find out more." Might not be the precise wording, but the main idea was clear.

I’ve been getting texts from someone called Ruby who says, “Hello, Ruby speaking. I’m currently working as a consultant for Phaidon International. We have several job openings; would you be interested in seeing more info?” I asked her a few times where she got my number from, but she just keeps going on about the job and how I can easily earn £300 in half an hour. Feels like a total pyramid scam to me.
