Got a text saying "Hi mum this is my new number" but i’m not anyone’s mum! I rang the number from a different phone but no reply. If they keep sending messages, I’m thinking of putting it up on Gumtree with an ad.

Received a call from someone claiming to be my daughter, saying her phone got water damaged and she had to get a new number. Then they asked me to transfer some money to a bank account. Seemed off to me.
