Got a call from 07729840916 earlier claiming to be from Gateway about some PPI thing. The line was really noisy, couldn’t make out much at all, but I reckon it’s one of those scam calls.

Got a call saying ‘Ingenious’ had some info about my PPI claim over the past few years. Thing is, I've never made a PPI claim or even had one. I asked where they got my info from and told them to remove me from their contact list.

Got a call from someone who already knew my name and started asking if I’d seen their email about a PPI claim. Thing is, I’ve never had any PPI at all. Definitely a dodgy scam.

Somebody called claiming to be from Gateway and wanted to discuss tax relief with me. I wasn’t really sure about it, so I told them I wasn’t comfortable chatting about that kind of stuff on the phone due to all the scams going around. She just said alright and then ended the call.

Had a call today, sounded like one of those PPI scams. Didn't fall for it though!

I got a ring from this number and a woman with a Liverpool accent said she was from a firm sorting out PPI tax rebates. She wanted my email to send a document online, then asked for my National Insurance number - which I refused to give. She also messed up my name and claimed I had received a huge payout before. I hung up, but she phoned me straight back, asking for my address. I told her I wasn’t happy sharing more details over the phone, and she ended the call right there.

Had a call which felt a bit dodgy right from the start so I told the person it seemed like a cold call. They just hung up straight away after that, no more chatting.

Got a call from a woman who sounded really drowsy. I couldn’t make out the company she said she was with, but it sounded like “Allay” or something close to that. When I asked for her name, she just stayed silent for a bit and then ended the call.
