A moment after my phone showed a spam alert from a Californian number, I got a weird SMS about an Apple password reset - obviously some dodgy attempt to break into my iCloud. When I ignored it, this UK number called next. My Pixel picked up and the message was something like “there’s a hack attempt on your account, ring us ASAP to prevent it.” Total scam stuff to scare folks into reacting. Best advice? Just ignore it all, don’t call back, don’t reply, and definitely don’t click any links or phone numbers they throw at you.
