Got a ring from some bloke called Michael claiming to be with PrimeInvest, saying they were gonna give me back £11,000 from a £250 deposit - sounded too good to be true. Then he asked me to install anydesk, which I’ve heard is a favourite trick for scammers to sneak into your computer. Their Facebook ads, under primeinv.co, boast about AI trading or something fancy like that. Funny thing, their supposed ‘registered address’ is just the Google office in Zurich. Honestly, they’ll take your cash alright, but don’t hold your breath waiting for a refund.

Got a call from someone named Michael claiming to be with PrimeInvest, saying they’d refund me £11,000 out of a £250 deposit I supposedly made. But before anything, he wanted me to download Anydesk, which is a well-known trick scammers use to hack into your computer. Their Facebook ads show PrimeInv.co saying they do AI trading, but their “official” address is just the Google offices in Zurich. They’ll happily take your money, but don’t count on getting any of it back. Also, this isn’t my first time reporting this. It’s a bit confusing how to rate the call properly - it’d be great if the “Add more details” button also let you put in your rating, or if all the info was shown on the report screen right away.
