On Tuesday 23rd March 2021 at about 2:48pm, I got a call from a mobile number beginning with 07732563743. They left a voice message pretending to be from HMRC, saying there’d been some kind of fraud linked to me. I didn’t hang around and just cut the call off straight away. I’m convinced this is a scam since HMRC normally sends letters, not calls, especially not to a mobile like mine.

I got a call from 07729 975206, an automated voice pretending to be from HMRC. It said there was a warrant for my arrest and told me to press 1 immediately. Total scam, do not fall for it! It’s definitely a con, everyone watch out!

I got a phone call from this number, and the person on the line claimed to be representing BT. They seemed to know my name and address, asking me to verify the details. Curious about the purpose of the call, I inquired further, but then the chap suddenly hung up. He had quite a pronounced foreign accent. Very odd, wouldn't you say? - Caller: claimed to be from BT.
