On Tuesday 23rd March 2021 at about 2:48pm, I got a call from a mobile number beginning with 07732563743. They left a voice message pretending to be from HMRC, saying there’d been some kind of fraud linked to me. I didn’t hang around and just cut the call off straight away. I’m convinced this is a scam since HMRC normally sends letters, not calls, especially not to a mobile like mine.

I got a call from 07729 975206, an automated voice pretending to be from HMRC. It said there was a warrant for my arrest and told me to press 1 immediately. Total scam, do not fall for it! It’s definitely a con, everyone watch out!

Got a call saying they had “great news” from the Daily Mail, which felt like a total scam trying to pry for my details. Hung up and blocked them straight away.

Got a call from this number, the bloke said he was with BT. He actually knew my name and where I live, asked me if that was right. When I asked what it was about, he just ended the call. The chap sounded like he had a foreign accent. - caller claimed to be representing BT.
