This morning I got a call from a woman claiming to be from an insurance firm, but she wouldn't say which one. I really can't stand these early morning cold calls. I’m gonna try to block the number, but honestly, these callers should face some sort of punishment.

Got a call from Forward Life trying to check if my life insurance was up to date. Felt like he was either pitching a sale or planning something dodgy. Anyway, I’m good, thanks but no thanks.

Got a call from someone claiming to be an insurance rep. They asked a few simple questions and then told me I was overpaying and could get a better deal with the same provider. They wanted my bank sort code and account number to switch my direct debit right away. I wasn’t comfortable handing over my bank details on the phone and said I didn’t want to change my life insurance. You could tell they weren’t too pleased with my answer.
