The person on the phone had an Indian accent but said his name was Steven. He claimed to be ringing from BT Openreach about some issues with my internet connection. Since we don’t use BT, I kept quiet about that. It was clear he didn’t know my name or any other info, which was suspicious. I called him out for being a scammer, and he ended up hanging up.
