Got a call at 9:59 this morning and it went straight to voicemail. The message sounded robotic and really fake. It claimed Amazon was going to take £99 from my bank, then another £799 after that. The message said if I wanted to stop the payment, I just needed to press 1, or press 2 to talk to someone. I didn’t press any buttons though. Seems like a dodgy scam to me, because pressing those numbers might just give crooks a way to empty your bank account. Definitely not something to mess with.
