I received a call allegedly from a debt advisory firm concerning some supposed outstanding debts. I informed them that I have no debts to my name, and then, quite abruptly, the connection terminated.

They called claiming to be from HMRC and said they had people coming over. I told them there’s no chance they were really from HMRC, and then they just ended the call and sent me a text calling me an arrogant idiot. Such cheek!

Got a call about some debt but I don’t owe anything at all! Totally weird.

I got a call from some debt collectors, but as soon as I said I didn’t owe anything, they just hung up. They had my name right, but everything else was off. Definitely sounded like a scam.

I got a call from someone saying they were with a debt advice firm about some supposedly unpaid debts. I told them I don’t owe anything and that I’m actually a solicitor. Right after that, they just hung up on me!
