Got a call where someone said “hey Dad” right off the bat. When you reply, they quickly start asking for cash. Total scam.

Got a text saying "Hey Dad, I've got a new number now..." and so on. I called my son on his usual mobile just to make sure it was really him, turns out it wasn't! So I just blocked the number and deleted the message straight away.

Got a message claiming to be from O2, saying "Hi Dad, I've got a new number, please save it." Complete scam! Don’t even think about clicking that link, it just gives them access to your provider account. Also, I’m definitely not a dad!
