I received a text from 07266696687 that went like this: "Dear M (my surname), I've noticed some dubious activities linked to your account. Kindly reach out to me at +447728988799 at your earliest opportunity. Together, we can put a stop to fraud." The date at the end-1 April 2010-was indeed included in the message. It seems like nothing more than a modern scam, or could it just be an April Fool's prank? Haha. I’ve never called the number back, so I can’t provide any further details.

We've received a message from the number 072696687 stating: "Hi M (inserted my name), I've detected some unusual activity on your account. Please reach out to me at 447 728 988 799 at your earliest convenience. I can assist you in tackling any fraud issues." Strangely enough, the message was dated April 1, 2010, which feels rather dodgy. Seems like this might be yet another crafty scam or perhaps just someone playing a prank! Haha. We never return calls to unknown numbers, so we’re left completely in the dark on this one.
