Got a message from this number saying some bloke called Mr C Jones was added as a new payee. I bank with HSBC and they’ve never reached out like that before. Just to be safe, I logged into my account the normal way and everything looked fine.

I just got an email saying someone accessed my HSBC account, but I don’t even have one with them! Sounds dodgy to me, watch out for this kind of scam.

Got a text claiming HSBC added a new payee called Mr C Jones through mobile banking and to get in touch with security. The weird bit is, I don’t even hold an account with HSBC!
