Some bloke with an Asian accent called me saying I owe money or something. The noise in the background was awful, like a busy place, and he mentioned he was calling from some kind of “station,” but I couldn’t catch what it exactly was because of his thick accent. I told him firmly I’ve never owed anything, then he just said bye and ended the call.

Got a call round 12:13 in the afternoon from an Asian bloke who knew my name. He claimed I owed money, I told him to piss off and he just hung up. You could hear a lot of noise like people working behind him.

There was about a minute of silence before I could hear other people chatting quietly in the background, felt like a call centre. Then a bloke came on and questioned why I answered the phone. Eventually he just hung up. Not rude exactly, but definitely strange and made me feel a bit uneasy.

Got a call from someone claiming i owed money and had bad credit. When i asked how they got my number, they told me i wasn’t allowed to ask that. Then i asked what company they were with, and they said ‘Lets Get Busy Tonight’ which sounded really dodgy. I tried asking who oversees them but they just cut the call. I’m already signed up to the TPS, so this felt really suspicious.

When you get a call from an unknown number and they don’t leave a voicemail, chances are it’s some kind of scam. So if it’s a number you don’t know (especially those 07 mobiles), just pick up then hang up straight away without listening. It ends up costing them loads and they get nothing out of it.
