They claimed to be running a free insulation scheme for my area. But then, after a bit, they asked which town I lived in. I wasn’t very nice and told them to buzz off and never ring me again. It was pretty clear they were pulling a scam. If it was really a local government thing, they wouldn’t need to ask what town I’m from. Plus, a real official call wouldn’t come from a random mobile number like that. Definitely dodgy.
