Had a bloke called Chris earlier, really polite fella, chatting about some fractional ownership thing that I’m pretty sure I’ve never signed up for. He mentioned Kontract Service, said they had a website, but when I asked for the link he couldn’t provide one. Tried asking for his manager's details or how they got hold of my number so I could get it removed, but he dodged that. I kept him going on the phone for about 7 minutes, then he just cut me off saying I was wasting his time. Bit odd, really.

I got a call from someone saying I owed money to HGV and that bailiffs were coming round. When I told them I’d be ready for them, they suddenly got quite rude and pushy.

Just got a call from someone saying they were collecting debt for a timeshare company, but it’s a total scam. The bloke called himself Gordon Samuels and gave the address 111 New Union Street, Coventry - but that’s just a mail forwarding spot. Best advice? Don’t bother talking to them, just end the call straight away.

I got a call from this number but it wasn’t saved in my contacts, so I chose to ignore it and have since blocked it. I never pick up calls from unknown numbers. If it’s important, the person can always leave a voicemail.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Midlands Consultants about a timeshare debt. When I asked them for a landline number to check with my accountants who handle all my money matters, the woman on the phone, who said her name was Zara, got really awkward and passed me the number 01422 765375. Soon after, the call just cut off. Tried dialling that number and it doesn’t even connect... total SCAM!

Got a call from some Halifax Advisory Consultants about a debt from years ago, supposedly linked to Diamond Resorts and now Hilton chasing it. They claimed I owed money from like three years back, but honestly it was complete rubbish. I've been a Diamond member but never owed a penny. I just pretended to listen for a bit and then the bloke suddenly cut the call.

Someone kept asking for Mr and Mrs G******el earlier. I told them this is my number and has been for about five years now. We ended up putting a call blocker on the line 'cause we were getting loads of calls, mostly about timeshares, always for those G people who clearly don’t live here anymore. I've blocked that particular mobile number, but there are still others ringing from similar numbers, usually starting with 077277 or 077238.

Someone called from Harrogate Advisory, claiming bailiffs were on their way to take stuff because of a debt I supposedly owed. When I asked what debt, they said Hilton, which used to be Diamond Resorts. I’ve never owned timeshare with either, though I have swapped into Diamond a few times. Total scam! They were trying to get our address for the bailiffs - like I’d just hand that over!

I got calls about not paying timeshare fees and apparently some European court orders were involved, said EOPs can fix it. But from what I know, EOPs don’t hold any weight here in the UK. Plus, Club La Costa never even went for this kind of thing, and lots of timeshare firms have already gone under. These callers are definitely dodgy, and numbers starting with 0772 are usually scams. Best to just hang up and block them.

So I got a call from someone saying they were Harrogate Advisory. When I told them I wasn’t interested, the bloke got all rude, asking if I wasn’t interested in dodgy companies or something. I just said "you lot are the fraudsters" and hung up. Then they called me back from 07727493469 but I ignored it. Total scam if you ask me.
