They didn’t leave any voicemail, so no clue who it was.

07727 467249 kept ringing and I just left it. I don't pick up any calls from unknown numbers anymore, probably some dodgy scam. I'm fed up with all these calls - now I just avoid my phone unless I’m expecting someone. From Liverpool, that’s been my rule lately.

They mentioned being from some debt collection firm and I got really anxious wondering what debt they were talking about.

Someone pretending to sell a caravan on eBay got in touch. They spun a sad tale about being a widow, then asked me to send funds before the van would be sent. Later I realised the phone number wasn’t even verified on eBay. I’ve reported it to eBay now.
