Got calls from this number a couple of times today and once last week, didn’t pick up and just blocked it now.

Unknown number called, but left no voicemail or message at all.

They gave me a ring but didn’t cut off quick enough, so it went to voicemail. I could tell it was some office because all I heard was this heavy breathing. Pretty sure they were just trying to find another number to rip off!

I think this was some kind of insurance scam, felt a bit dodgy to me.

For the last few weeks, I've had loads of calls from people saying I've got some sort of payout for an accident that happened six months back. Thing is, I never filed anything with my insurer or the other driver’s. Honestly, I can’t figure out why any insurance firm would just hand out money like that out of the blue. Best to just ignore them and put the phone down. They’ll probably start rattling off your info, but with how many folks are getting these calls, it’s getting pointless.

I got a call from someone who gave her name as Lisa - judging by her accent, I guess she might be from India? She claimed she was calling on behalf of Microsoft and told me there was a virus on my computer.

Got called by some smart sounding robot with a female voice that kept trying to chat about a car crash I allegedly got into. It’s a bit of a bummer that you can't bother an actual human on these calls anymore, but it’s still quite amusing to test out different phrases hoping to trick it into giving me admin rights - no success up to now though!

I didn't recognise the number and chose not to pick up. Honestly, it's so frustrating navigating these websites, unsure whether a number is genuine. It's as though folks have completely overlooked the simplicity of leaving a voicemail!
