This looks dodgy to me. I had the same message pop up, definitely not from Halifax, and I’m not even a Halifax customer. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

Just got a text from +447727 227849 saying “Halifax: new device registered for mobile banking 25/09. If this wasn’t you, go to: [#]secured-mydevices[###].” I’ve never used Halifax or any mobile banking with them, so this felt really fishy. Looks like a scam to me. Watch out if you get something like this!
