some bloke rang me up saying he’d had a crash and was trying to get cash together for surgery. I just hung up straight away. sounds like a dodgy scam to me, who would actually ask for money like that over the phone?

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said she was conducting a survey. She was asking loads of questions like if I owned the house, what brand my TV was, and if I had a dishwasher, what brand that was too. Trouble was, I could barely catch what she was saying. The bit that really freaked me out was she already knew my postcode and address. That’s when I started to feel uneasy.

I reckon it was a telemarketer calling me. When I picked up, the person on the other end started talking about some great deals that might catch my eye. I asked for more details, but he just said he’d share after I gave him my name, address, and age. No way was I giving that info!
