I got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, asking if I was currently using my computer because apparently, I hadn’t downloaded a crucial update. It’s a laptop, and since I had guests over, I told them I wasn’t about to switch it on. Despite me saying no, the person kept insisting I turn it on. My laptop’s brand new with all the latest hardware and software support, so I’ll just take it to a proper technician. They kept pushing me to power it up, and even after I hung up, they were still going on about it.
