Basically, my grandma got hit with the same sort of thing as mentioned before. She was panicking, ringing me up, but I just had to remind her she ain’t with EE or anything like that and told her to just not bother with it. Sounds like one of those phishing tricks trying to catch a bite.

Got a dodgy text on 13/01/20 from 07726842956 claiming to be EE, saying my recent bill couldn't be processed and my service would be cut off in 12 hours. Just got the same message again today. Didn’t bother clicking the link at all. Very fishy.
