Got a call from an unknown number out of the blue. I picked up and it was an automated voice claiming to be from "The Bank of England." They said my National Insurance number was going to be cancelled because of some supposed illegal financial stuff, calling it my "final warning." They wanted me to press 1 for more details, which I'm sure would’ve just linked me to some scam call centre overseas. It was clearly a rubbish attempt at a scam, so I just ignored it and waited for them to hang up. Honestly, I couldn’t help but laugh the whole time.
