On 26th Feb 2024 at about 11.06am I got a call on my old landline from a number that wasn’t familiar. It was some automated message with a female voice claiming to be from my bank though they didn’t say which one, telling me there were two unusual transactions on my account, including £300 to Amazon. They said to press a specific key to get more info, but it clearly felt like a scam so I just hung up straight away.
