Got a message from a number I didn’t recognise, saying “hope you’re well, mum” and it was from an iPad no less, asking me to reply to some new number. It’s really cruel because my only kid passed away. Total scam and really upsetting.

Got a dodgy text saying "Hope you’re well mum, just a quick note from my iPad, I’ve switched my number to O2 now". There was a link with the number 07546 187642 to click on to respond. Pretty sure clicking it would just load malware onto your phone or worse. Seems like a classic scam to me.

I got a message saying I owed £899.99 and needed to sort it straight away. Sounded dodgy to me, so I looked it up here before doing anything. Glad I checked first!

Got a dodgy text about a payday loan from Quick Loans Ltd with a request to ring an 0330 number. Problem is, Quick Loans Ltd went under back in 2019 and their parent company left the UK market shortly after. I've never taken a payday loan either, so this has to be a scam, pure and simple.
