I told her I wasn’t interested, but she kept insisting, rudely saying she was just checking back. Honestly, I don’t see why that should make me want to talk about my home with her. Some woman from 'Home Advice Bureau' called asking if I’d spotted any damp in my house. I knew it was rubbish, but I played along for a bit just for a laugh. Oddly enough, my place apparently popped up on their system as eligible for a ‘Free Assessment’. Even more crazy, they said they had people nearby tomorrow if I wanted them to pop round. Honestly, I wish these lot would find proper work. No clue how they manage to sleep at night trying to scam folks. Bet it’d be a different tune if one of their own got tricked like that.

As soon as I picked up, they just disconnected. When I tried calling back, the voicemail said something about a property heat loss assessment. Not really something I'm interested in, so I've blocked the number now. Just can't get why they’d cut off right when you answer!

Got a call from someone called George saying he was with the Homes Advice Bureau and something about a Government scheme in my area. As soon as I mentioned I’m on the TPS, he ended the call pretty sharpish. Would be great to have an address for them so I can report it properly.
