The code came from the regular Amazon OTP number, so I foolishly shared it. Just then, an alert flashed up from Amazon about a password change attempt, asking if I authorised it. The phone number traces back to a bloke named Stuart Wright, who’s a known fraudster. No surprise he’s got a fancy big house worth a fortune - he’s been ripping people off for ages.

Total scam alert! They’ll show you fake order details and addresses to make themselves look real - but don’t fall for it. Never give them your bank card details or OTP under any circumstances. Quickly contact your bank to cancel the card linked to Amazon and request a replacement. Also, make sure to tell your bank to pause any payments to Amazon until this gets sorted.
