I got a call from someone claiming to be from Saraipali, Chhattisgarht, India, saying my ID on my PC was hacked and someone else was using it. They wanted to remotely access my computer, but I wasn’t having any of it and just blocked their number straight away. They rang me again though, so I let it go to voicemail. The message said if I didn’t call back, my computer would be locked. I asked my computer tech about it, who said it was a total scam. Apparently, he recently dealt with someone who fell for it and lost about £8,000. Glad I checked before doing anything!
