Remarkably, I experienced a similar occurrence today at precisely 14:03. I had just taken out a fresh O2 contract and received a call regarding alterations to my insurance policy. I reached out to Carphone and they confirmed that this wasn’t affiliated with them or their insurance partner. Strangely, these individuals have since tried to ring us again this morning. Naturally, I had to block the number. I've already spoken to the bank, and they’ve logged the 120 incident, but nothing can be properly addressed until it’s all fully verified.

I rang them up again and let them know that I wanted to cancel this. I reached out to customer support using the number we were given, 01792581304, and I also contacted my bank about it.

Received a couple of calls earlier today from someone searching for Mr Burgess (not me, mind you). Just signed up for a new O2 contract yesterday. The callers were asking for personal information, which we firmly declined to provide. They then claimed they needed to confirm our details, hinting at a potential bill if we didn’t comply (rather curious how they planned to charge us without our information, isn't it?). We inquired what exactly they wanted and were told it was about a Nokia something or other. We explained that we didn’t own a Nokia, and they promptly hung up. Haven’t heard from them since.

We’re in the same boat. I’ll hold off until the documents come through (the bank is utterly powerless since I've provided ample details for a transaction, unless of course, it’s somehow dodgy). After that, I’ll aim to cancel. The sum in question is £120. Given that they’re not regulated by the FSA and they won’t refund within the two-week cooling-off window (distance selling regulations), we reckon it’s fair to conclude this is a scam, and we’ll take action accordingly.

We find ourselves in a similar predicament. I intend to hold off until the paperwork comes through, as the bank is powerless to act at this stage; we’ve provided all necessary details to facilitate the payment, despite its dubious nature. The sum in question totals £120. Given that these individuals aren't registered with the FSA and we’re well outside the 14-day period for returns (concerning distance sales), it isn’t too far-fetched to conclude that this is indeed a scam. We will take appropriate action once everything is in order.

We've just had a similar experience this month with £89.50 being deducted by Delta Moves Limited! We've confirmed with Carphone Warehouse and O2 that it's not them, and they've made a record of the situation. Now we’re in the process of trying to get that money back.

We've had the exact same experience this month, with £89.50 disappearing from our account thanks to Delta Moves Limited! The folks at Carphone Warehouse and O2 confirmed that it wasn’t them and have documented the issue. We're now in the process of trying to retrieve those funds.
