The only place I can think that had my details recently is the NHS prescription service at my local pharmacy around Manchester. Feels like too much of a coincidence otherwise.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from some NHS Covid tracing team. He asked if me or anyone in my house had any symptoms, then went on about any other health problems and if we’d seen a doctor recently - like seriously, who can even get a GP appointment these days?! Then he asked about my health insurance. I told him nothing to report but kept saying no to everything. Before he ended the call he did say “Have a nice day madam” which was a bit odd. What a pain, so I just blocked the number.

Got a ring from some bloke called “Mike” who had a pretty strong South Asian accent. He said he was with the NHS Covid team and that he was calling from Richmond. Something felt off straight away. When I asked if he actually worked for the NHS, he said yes without hesitation. He started asking loads about private health insurance and told me he was updating some kind of NHS database. I threw him off by saying I’d just had a negative Covid test - he didn’t seem to know how to respond after that. When he said it was a survey, I told him to send it through the post instead.
