Just like the other person said, I found this call quite fishy. I mean, why would a text-to-speech message come from a regular mobile number? The voice on the other end rattled off the number so quickly that I couldn’t jot it down, not even when they repeated it. It began with 447..., which I know is a UK mobile prefix. Seems dodgy, likely some kind of scam.

I got a call from what said it was the BT SMS service, but it felt a bit dodgy. They wanted me to press "1" to listen to the message or something, which seemed odd. The number wasn’t familiar to me at all. Also, who sends a text to a landline anyway? I’m pretty sure it was a scam trying to trick me.
