This call was proper awful, really inappropriate and full of rude stuff! Definitely not your normal telemarketer ringing you up.

I never pick up if a number looks strange or I don’t know it. Most of the time they stop calling after a few tries. Also, depending on your phone model, you can just block the caller altogether. It’s honestly not that hard to avoid annoying calls.

I asked them nicely to take me off their list but they were really abusive and crude. Even after I told them to stop calling, they just kept swearing and said they’d ring me again anyway. It was quite disturbing.

So, this bloke called claiming he was from some UK financial department. I asked him nicely if he could remove my number from his list, and suddenly he snaps at me, telling me to “shut the f##k up!” Seriously, hadn’t had anyone talk to me like that before! Bit of a shocker, really.

Big shoutout to the woman who pointed that out - sounds like complete scammers fishing for cash or bank info. Proper sketchy and annoying, so definitely block that number. Honestly, no idea how they get hold of phone numbers, maybe just guessing randomly or something. Stay safe everyone!

i just wanna say how cheeky that was too! if he still lives with his folks, they should totally take his phone off him, cut off his internet and put him on lockdown for a bit!

Got two calls within an hour from someone claiming to be from ‘the UK financial department’. When I told them no such department exists in the government, they started swearing at me - stuff like “what did you just say, b****?” and “what’s that, b****?” Absolutely ridiculous, mate.
