Got a recorded call claiming to be from Amazon, saying they were gonna charge me £79.99. It said, “PRESS 1 TO TALK TO A MANAGER!” So I pressed 1 and told them I was a Police Sergeant with Police Scotland. Then some bloke with an Indian accent started asking for my Amazon info (I don’t even have an Amazon account). When I told him that and repeated my job, he just hung up straight away!
