I was told Simon would ring me to drop off a parcel, but I was in all day so I know that’s a lie. Then, today, I get another message from Simon saying he’s trying to deliver the same parcel again. Never ordered anything, so Simon can jog on.

Received a message from someone called Simon claiming he’d tried to drop off a parcel at our place around 1.48pm, but nobody was in. We were actually out on our daily walk then and weren’t expecting any deliveries anyway. The message itself looked quite convincing when I opened it. We always hear about scams and fraud on the radio and TV, and honestly, it’s really worrying. Just a couple of weeks ago, there was a heartbreaking story about an old fella who lost his pension and had to give up his home. His daughter spoke on a radio show on Saturday at 12.05 to share what happened and warn others. She’s a brilliant woman for doing that, trying to protect people like us. Please be careful and don’t get caught out by these sneaky tricks.
