Got a text from 07724 203284 that said something like, "Hey mum, my phone's busted. I’m on a mate’s phone now, text me back at 07521 353845, it’s urgent." Pretty obvious scam to me. My wife passed away three years ago, and our sons wouldn’t ever call her "hey mum" like that. Besides, she never even owned a mobile phone.
