My phone rang early, around 8.08 this morning, and when I dialled 1471, it told me it was BT but also mentioned a text couldn’t be shown because it might be music or some kind of weird message. There was no need to ring BT back, apparently. Then, when I looked up 1871, it showed a call from 7.26 that actually read out my own number. Lately, I’ve been getting calls from some Indian lads saying a Mr Cole from California is trying to nick my info. Honestly, it wasn’t a scam, but it was proper funny - sounded like something straight out of Fonejacker DVDs or one of those prank shows!

Woke up to a call at 8.08 in the morning, so I punched in 1471 and it told me it was BT but mentioned I’d got a text that couldn’t be shown - maybe some music, a text, or just undeliverable. No need to ring BT, apparently. Then I checked 1871 and saw the call was actually made earlier, at 7.26, and my own number was mentioned. Lately, some blokes from India have been phoning me, talking about some Mr Cole from California trying to nick my info. Didn’t seem like a proper scam, more like a bad comedy sketch, reminded me of those Fonejacker DVDs or something. Proper funny if you ask me!
