Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, no voicemail or anything, so I checked it out. The reviews made it clear it was a scam, so I sent the number straight to Ofgem by forwarding it to 7726 for spam reports.

I kept getting calls about PPI but they sometimes called me by the wrong name as well.

I picked up and the person called me by my nickname, asking if I remembered claiming tax back on some ppi from about 5 years ago. When I said I didn’t, he just said alright, take care and ended the call.
