Today, I got a call from this number but the person just disconnected as soon as I picked up. This morning, a close number 07723869892 called me at about 8:45am about some insulation offer, but the caller spoke really poor English. My missus ended the call straight away.

I don’t really know if I was home when this call came through, but they didn’t leave any voicemail. I used 1471 to find the number, didn’t ring any bells, so I looked it up here. Looks like another one to add to my blocked numbers!

Got a call from 07723991137 earlier, some bloke with a foreign accent who said his name was John. He was trying to talk to me about loft insulation but I felt like it might be a scam, so I just told him our loft's already fully insulated and hung up.

Got a ringing from someone with an accent, claiming they were from an energy firm about loft insulation. They went on about how good it was to upgrade it and mentioned most homes around here had been checked. I told them I never actually check my loft, so I had no idea about the insulation or what kind it might be. Not everything I said was exactly the truth, mind you. Then they asked how old I was, and I told them somewhere between 1 and 100. When I asked back for their age, they suddenly didn’t want to say and after a quick pause, the call just ended. Pretty sure it was just a dodgy scam.
