I didn't know the number so I just ignored it and let it ring through. They never left a message anyway. Checked it here and found out it's a scam.

Picked up a call that lasted just a couple seconds, as expected it was one of those scam calls... went straight to blocking the number.

Got a call on my phone but no one said a word. Clearly a scam, no doubt about it. If only those scammers were predictable like doctors, maybe we could get rid of them right from the start. Such a waste of everyone’s time and a way to trick folks out of their cash. It’s horrible how much stress and trouble they cause. I really don’t understand how these people manage to sleep easy at night.

Got a call from a Basildon number about some timeshare ownership, said they were sorting out papers from European courts about debts and ownership. I asked them to take my details off their list and not to ring me anymore. The bloke said he couldn’t do that because he wasn’t the one who put me on their database. When I asked who did, he just said it was me! Told them firmly not to call again and then blocked the number.
