Watch out for this phone scam pretending to be the DWP about the winter fuel allowance. They send a text with a link that looks super legit, but as soon as it asks for your bank info, you know it’s dodgy - the real DWP already has that if you get a pension. I passed all this onto Report Fraud at 03001232040, and a police officer took down everything including where the call came from. Got a crime reference number from them and was told to keep sending any dodgy messages to 7726. Don’t be fooled by this one!
