***SCAM ALERT*** Got this silly message again claiming to be from DWP. It says because winter’s coming, they’re giving out a heating allowance of either £200 or £300, with the higher amount for folks over 60. They insist you have to apply by 4 December 2024 or you’ll lose out and they’ll give the money to others. The link they provided looks dodgy as well: https://rebrand.ly/5ikpb5s?eho=ACnCU7. Seriously, don’t fall for this rubbish. Stay safe and warm, but not from scammers!
