Got a call from someone who sounded Asian, speaking really broken English, saying they were from Amazon. They told me there was some dodgy activity on my account and then sent me a text with a login code. I got the message but didn’t share the code because I figured it’d let them get into my account. When I told him I doubted he actually worked for Amazon, he started raising his voice and warned me he’d approve a £500 purchase supposedly made in Germany.
