Really tenacious bloke. Said he was ringing from the British Medical Association about my covid jab. When I asked him to prove who he was and told him I wasn’t gonna share my vaccine info, he just got pushier. I told him I’m NHS staff and that info is private medical stuff, but he kept insisting the BMA had the right to it. Honestly, never hand over your details to these lot. Funny enough, I’d just set up an Uber account a few hours earlier and given them my full name, address and number.

This is the second annoying call I’ve had today, and honestly these kinds of calls come almost every day now. Looks like another scam or spam caller. It’s getting a bit tiring really. I’ve blocked this one too after looking it up here, but I reckon I’ll keep getting calls from the same sort of numbers since they don’t give up easily.

So I got a call where they already knew my name and where I live - they asked me to confirm it anyway. Then they started asking if I was current with my vaccinations and if I’m satisfied with my healthcare. They also wanted to know if I’ve got life insurance and what my payments are. Quite strange!

Some bloke called "Harry" saying he was from Citizens Advice Bureau, claiming they got my info 'cos I supposedly owe money and want to help me sort it out. I told him I'm on the TPS and never agreed for my details to be passed on, and warned them I'd report it. I blocked the number, but now loads of different mobile numbers keep ringing me every day. Seems like someone's gone and sold my info!

I was unable to take the call as I didn’t recognise the number that was calling. After encountering several warnings regarding this particular number online, I decided to ring it back while concealing my caller ID. An automated message greeted me, informing me that I was about to participate in something called an "Echo test." They instructed me to listen and then repeat each message after the tone. Naturally, I chose not to proceed any further. It was patently clear that they were fishing for vocal samples that could be manipulated for unknown reasons. I would strongly advise steering clear of this number, as you never know whether your voice might get recorded and exploited in some manner.

Definitely a dodgy call, likely from overseas. They said something like “This is the General Medical Council, how do you do?” I said I was alright. Then they asked if I’d had the Covid jab. I told them if they had my info, they wouldn’t need to ask me. Next thing, the call just cut off. Bit fishy, right? The General Medical Council wouldn’t be phoning people directly anyway since they’re the professional regulator. I bet if she kept chatting, she’d be fishing for my bank info or trying to get into my computer. Best to stay well clear of calls like that.
