Keep getting texts from some firm I've never heard of before. Honestly, feels like some kind of scam to me.

Got a text about some appointment with webuyanycar, saying it was 185 miles away. I’m not even selling my car and if I was, there’s no way I’d trust those dodgy lot. Feels like a total scam to me.

Just like loads of others, I got a text asking me to confirm a webuyanycar appointment, but it was for somewhere totally far from my area. Then I also got a call from an 0203 number which turned out to be them. I never asked for anything or set up an appointment with these lot.

07723 499214 This is about the 3rd or 4th text I’ve got from We Buy Any Car. They even called me once, with a person speaking with a South African accent. I’ve never reached out to or done anything with We Buy Any Car before.

Got a text earlier asking me to confirm if I’ll be going to an appointment at 18:40 with webuyanycar at Dudley Merry Hill shopping centre. The message wanted me to reply yes or no. Then later, I got another message from just webuyanycar (no phone number) saying I was booked for the next day at the same time, 18:40, with a link to click for more details. Problem is, I never actually booked anything.

After booking an appointment, I got a text from We Buy Any Car. Such a quick follow-up! It felt a bit odd though, getting a message straight after sorting the appointment. Not sure if it’s just their usual thing or something else. Has anyone else had that?

I keep gettin calls from someone asking if I'm still coming to my appointment with We Buy Any Car in Lewisham. Thing is, I never booked anything and I don't even live anywhere close to Lewisham! Seems a bit off to me.
